1. Data we collect
Pose detection processes camera frames on your iPhone. Microsoft Clarity provides interaction analytics and session replay.
Depending on how you use SquatQuest, we may process:
- Squat counts, workout activity, scores, progress, achievements, and leaderboard information.
- Pseudonymous player and device identifiers.
- Subscription status, purchased product, transaction, and offer information, but not payment-card information.
- App usage, advertising attribution, campaign, device, and technical information.
- Session replays of screen content and interactions, which may include workout selections and navigation.
- Support communications when you contact us.
2. How we use data
We use information to:
- Operate the game and synchronize progress.
- Recover accounts across devices.
- Manage subscriptions and sponsored or promotional access.
- Provide leaderboards and Game Center features.
- Prevent fraud and protect the service.
- Measure app performance and advertising effectiveness.
- Review screen interactions and navigation through Microsoft Clarity to understand usability issues.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.

4. Tracking and permissions
When required, SquatQuest requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using information for cross-app advertising measurement. Tracking permission is optional and can be changed in Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent access to SquatQuest's core features.
On squatquest.com, advertising cookies are optional. If you allow them, the homepage uses Meta Pixel and Tenjin to measure page visits, App Store download-link clicks, and the app installs, trials, and purchases attributed to those advertising clicks. This can include browser and advertising-click identifiers, campaign information, network and device information, and transaction event information. A download-link click is not recorded as an install or purchase. Our website advertising integration does not track visits to our guides or send workout measurements, camera images, or support form contents.
Choose Allow or Decline when prompted, or use the Ad privacy button to change your choice. We remember this preference for up to 180 days. Declining still lets you download the app. Website consent does not replace the separate tracking permission on your iPhone. 5. Public leaderboards
SquatQuest may display a generated player label and eligible workout score on public leaderboards. It does not publicly display the player's internal identifier or Apple Account information.
6. Retention, export, and deletion
We retain player information while necessary to operate SquatQuest. Users may export their data, reset their progress, or delete their account through the app.
Account deletion revokes access and normally removes identifiable live account, gameplay, leaderboard, and attribution data within 24 hours. Limited de-identified or legally required transaction, fraud-prevention, and accounting records may be retained. Temporary backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires.

SquatQuest is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age.
We use reasonable security measures designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
This policy may be updated as SquatQuest changes or as legal requirements develop. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice when appropriate.
